Virtual Courses

  • What are the computer system requirements for the virtual classroom? We will provide all the software— we usually use Zoom for Government or Microsoft Teams. We recommend using a laptop.

  • Do I need a laptop? Bigger the screen the easier it is to follow along— especially with group activities. We recommend using a laptop. Large tablets like the larger Apple iPads can work, but smaller devices like smart phones will be insufficient for class.

  • Do I need a camera? We highly recommended it— we have found it greatly enhances the learning environment for most participants. Feeling shy? consider using it only when you are talking.

  • Do you have any microphone/headsets or camera recommendations? Most basic headsets and webcams will be sufficient for class. Logitech, Microsoft, Jabra, and Plantronics are a few of the brands a number of our folks have used in the past.

  • Will I receive a workbook? We provide digital workbooks as a PDF for all virtual classes.
