Course Summary

In this course, you’ll gain insights into mastering Business Agility in order to thrive in the competitive market. You’ll learn the principles and practices of the Scaled Agile Framework® (SAFe), how to execute and release value through Agile Release Trains, and what it means to lead a Lean-Agile transformation at enterprise scale.
You will gain an understanding of the Lean-Agile mindset and why it’s so effective in today’s adapt-or-die marketplace. You’ll also get practical advice on supporting Agile teams and programs, empowering a Lean Portfolio, building a continuous delivery pipeline and DevOps culture, and coordinating large solutions.
Attending the class prepares individuals to take the exam and become a certified SAFe® Agilist (SA)

Prerequisites
All are welcome to attend the course, regardless of experience. However, the following prerequisites are highly recommended for those who intend to take the SAFe® Agilist (SA) certification exam:
5+ years’ experience in software development, testing, business analysis, product, or project management
Experience in Scrum

Olby Shaju is an SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) & Business Agility expert specializing in program and solution predictability. He uses Lean-Agile principles and Lean Portfolio Management (LPM) practices to help govern spend and establish guardrails. He has deep client experience in strategic investment funding, and agile portfolio operations, and Lean governance. Industries include Energy, Oil & Gas, Construction Development and Advertising .
Aa a technical expert in Oracle P6 EPPM, Microsoft Project Online & Server, and Earned Value Management, Olby is uniquely qualified to meet organizations ”where they are” in their transformation. Olby is also a a PMI PfMP & PMP and he received his MBA in advertising.
Emily Sperring's Lean-Agile journey originating in the Aerospace Industry giant where she successfully led launched 3 value streams, implemented a Solution Train and adopted Lean Portfolio Management.
Her work as a Release Train Engineer (RTE), Solution Train Engineer (STE), and an Enterprise Agile coach chartered to lead a cross-organizational evolution from waterfall into Agile using the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) earned her the awarding of the an Leadership Excellence award in 2019 form the organization.
Emily is driven to foster an environment where people are empowered with the tools and training to organize around value and improve value flow.
